Southern Glazers Wine & Spirits
Special Events does over eight hundred events a year with specializing in UNLVino. Their department is a fluid function that gives Southern Glazer's the unique advantage against competitors. There are only four in the office that create this magic for their customers. My job duties during the week included: Learning the program Caterease for scheduling, created a product list, created guest lists for a VIP bunker at T Mobile, and processed donations. Also, I helped prepare and execute a Summer Cookout event at Tropicana. I communicated with graphics to create signage for each activation and hired more staff for set up and breakdown. The day of the event I managed eleven employees, twelve bars, and an event that had 800-1000 attendees. Lastly, I helped execute a Flag Day event on the Southern Glazer's property by getting flags, helping the videographer, and creating flyers to create awareness.
Beverage Education courses at Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits include Beer, Wine, Sake, and Spirits for aspiring students that want to further their knowledge. The Academy is where all classes are held at the Southern Glazer's property.
The Academy has many events and classes that require a multitude of tasks. My job duties for the two weeks included: Assisting with wine supplier events, preparing and executing a cocktail competition by creating a power point, complying twelve weeks worth of study material for the course, organizing competitors information, helping administer tests, accomplished set up and tear down as well as a floater during event, and held a post mortem for competition. Additionally, prepared a graduation for students. I also learned how to prepare beer presentations for our Master Cicerone and learned how to cash out receipts. I was exposed to Concur which is a travel and expense tracking system to learn how expenses are charged on a corporate card.

Cirque Du Soleil
At Cirque, I was apart of Run Away of Cirque Du Soleil which is their 5k Run at Springs Preserve
My job duties included:
Managed check ins and marketing of the event for 1300 runners
Inputted online registration and made packets for day of race
Sold event for nonprofit to donate earnings from event
Recruited runners by cold calls, flyers, and social media
Helped at risk youth with community events like Cirque De Monde which is a social circus
that give kids confidence to strive for a better future
Networked with community partners and employees within RSD department
